An easy changeable photo frame garland

DIYs which require zero skill to put together are the best kind of DIYs, am I right? A changeable photo frame garland is a super simple concept and only takes about 10 to 15 minutes to put together, but it looks rather lovely and you can take pride in telling everyone you made it yourself. Also include your kids when hanging decoration on the garland. It is fun for the whole family and an easy way to turn your boring old deep photo frames in to something fun and unique.

What will you need?

  1. Deep photo frame ( mine was from Kik. But I do believe that any bigger store has frames. Dollar store, Offertissima, Ikea, ect.)
  2. Decorative rope or string. (Mr. Price)
  3. Decorative mini wood hanging clips (Ebay or Amazon – in Amazon one you even get a jute twine string)
  4. 2 screws with loops at the end (Amazon)
  5. Various decoration (felt birds, flowers, seashells, printed mini cards with lettering on it…)
  6. Scissors and glue

How do you make it?

  1. With 2 screws make 2 holes on each side of the frame.
  2. Measure the rope/string a 1 to 1,5 cm more than the length you want. With the extra string pull them through the loop ends of the screws and glue them.
  3. Screw the garland back to the holes in the frame and play with hanging your decoration with wood hanging clips.
  4. Have fun doing it.

Let me know yours turned out!
