If you like chocolate desserts, you should definitely try a chocolate cake without flour. This recipe requires no special skills and there is no expectation of a biscuit, which means there is no chance that this chocolate rhapsody will not be your favorite recipe.
When you want to avoid flour or lactose or white sugar, it’s hard to find the perfect flour-free dessert, and without the hassle of making and the million (unknown) ingredients you don’t have the money or time to spend searching for stores.
Chocolate cake is an eternal classic in the sweet world, and this flour-free cake will win over all your family members and those most discerning palates.
Ingredients:
- 220g dark chocolate
- 200g butter
- 5 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla aroma
- 220g of birch sugar or coconut sugar
- 60g cocoa powder
- A pinch of salt
Preparation:
- Melt the chocolate and butter and let it cool slightly.
- Separate egg yolks and egg whites. Mix the egg whites in the snow and mix the egg yolks with the sugar. Mix them for 5-6 minutes until doubled.
- Add egg yolks to cocoa powder and salt, mix briefly. Add the melted chocolate and mix briefly to make it whole.
- Finally, whisk together the egg whites with a spatula.
- Cover the cake mold with a diameter of 26cm with baking paper and grease the edges, pour the mixture and bake the cake for 40 minutes at 170 degrees.
- Leave in the mold to cool for about 10 minutes, then remove it to a grill to cool to the end.
- Sprinkle the cooled cake with cocoa powder and decorate with fresh berries, crushed cocoa beans, mint and almond leaves.
I have never heard of birch sugar, but I should have thought of it because I learned of birch syrup a few years ago (we boil maple syrup).
This cake looks really good!
