No hidden fats and sugar – make homemade muesli yourself

Homemade muesli is a healthier version of ready-made ones because you control the ingredients yourself, as well as the hidden fats and sugars. You can work the mix on a daily but also weekly basis to save yourself time. I bring you a recipe for one of the possible combinations, enough for a weekly consumption for one person.

Ingredients:

  1. 14 tablespoons oatmeal
  2. 5 tablespoons peeled almonds
  3. 3 tablespoons grated coconut
  4. 3 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
  5. 3 tablespoons flax seeds (can also be ground)
  6. 3 tablespoons dried fruit as desired

Preparation:

Mix all the ingredients and store in a glass bowl with a lid. You can combine these homemade muesli with milk, yogurt, kefir… Also, if you prefer fresh fruit, leave the dried fruit from the mixture and add fresh fruit to each meal as desired.

Enjoy!

    1. I love museli but I don’t know why I never tried to make it myself. I have been trying to eat healthier and this will be a perfect recipe to add to my list! It really does seem so easy to make!

  2. Love the idea of creating your own muesli and avoiding the processed varieties. Your ingredients look good and healthy to me and would be something I would like to make and enjoy.
