Quick homemade veggie burger: Sweet!

This recipe for veggie burger will delight you, especially loved by children… Fast veggie burger is a very healthy and nutritious snack, rich in protein, and easy to prepare. Serve in a warm homemade bun with your favorite cheese, smoked tofu, sauce and side dish of greens.

The recipe is for about 15 burgers.

Preparation time: 30 min

Ingredients:

  1. 250 ml cooked salted rice (optional, brown or white)
  2. 250 ml cooked salted brown lentils (or chickpeas)
  3. 2 coarsely grated carrots
  4. 300 g of bread crumbs
  5. 100 g of ground peanuts
  6. 1 tablespoon pumpkin or sesame oil (optional)
  7. 2 teaspoons salt, a little pepper,
  8. frying oil

Spices as desired: chopped parsley, sweet red pepper, oregano, chives, garlic powder, hot pepper.

Procedure:

  1. Mix all the ingredients and mash well and mix. It is desirable to see whole grains of lentils or chickpeas here and there.
  2. Separate about 15 burgers, roll them into balls and press them into burgers.
  3. Place them on baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 C until golden brown.
  4. Remove from the oven and fry until they get a golden-yellow crispy crust.
  5. Arrange in a warm bun with your favorite side dishes.
  6. Keep the burgers baked in the oven in the refrigerator and fry as needed.
